Service

Lauren spends much of her life losing herself in service to others. She currently works as a Volunteer Coordinator for the Hospital Elder Life Program in Des Moines, where she connects volunteers with patients to prevent delirium. While at Missouri State University, she had the opportunity to volunteer over 500 hours at various nonprofits. In particular, she is an advocate for the homeless population, domestic violence survivors, and patients on hospice care. She has served as her sorority's Director of Community Service, as well as the Vice President of Philanthropy, where she was able to show the value of service and help others find their volunteer homes. Community service is how Lauren becomes inspired as an artist and it will always be an integral part to her life.

"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile."
